Cooperation in designing the Loučeň Castle renovation
In the summer of 2004, we were approached to work on a large renovation project for the Loučeň Castle area. Our task was to prepare designs for the refurbishment of selected historical buildings: an orangery, laundry house and small baroque home.
An amphitheatre was built in the beautiful English park and a new organic information centre building was constructed at the entrance. An interesting detail was the design of the entrance gate and renovation of the whole system of fences and retaining walls. Architects who worked on the project: Aleš Bartoušek, Ing. Uta Procházková, Ing. Pavel Stehlík and Ing. Filip Rozsíval. On 13 March 2008 the Information Centre burnt down!
